Lumen & Forge partnered with Dragon Talent Group to create an immersive nightclub and performance space for MasterCard’s League of Legends All Stars afterparty. At Mansion 54 in Las Vegas we set up a panoramic 360 projection display, which encased the main hall with our spectacular custom visuals.
WHAT WE DID
The experiential event took place at the chic venue Mansion 54, located in Las Vegas’ arts district. We converted the ballroom into an immersive nightclub with stunning 4K content projected across each wall. CONVERTING MANSION 54 INTO A FUTURISTIC IMMERSIVE WORLD
In partnership with Dragon Agency, we compiled 360 visuals that would fill the ballroom. The clients left us to our own devices when it came content, so we pulled from Youtube, the League of Legends website and anywhere we could find videos with adequate resolution for the scene. We then edited and repurposed the videos into VJ friendly clips that fit the aspect ratio of the 360 space. Our VJs then live-mixed the content to accompany the music and activities of the night.
For our projection solution, L&F used 8 6K lumen 4K projectors to map the main venue hall. Originally the hall was the mansion’s indoor pool room. The pool is now covered with transparent flooring, lit from below with LEDs during events. This created a phenomenal visual effect as colorful ripples shimmered beneath the dance floor. An additional two 4K projectors were installed for the entrance tunnel built from two 8ft x 18ft projection screens – a wormhole into an alternate reality.
