Immersive Storytelling That Engages

Immersive storytelling demands a distinct approach compared to traditional animation, inviting audiences to become active participants in the narrative. From character-driven tales to visually striking, ambient environments, we excel at weaving engaging narratives that mesmerize viewers, often integrating interactive technology with the help of Unreal Engine, Notch, TouchDesigner & more.

This enables viewers to influence the storyline and deepen their connection with the experience. Our collaborative process begins by identifying the visual aesthetic, tone, and format through storyboards and moodboards. After concepts are honed, we leverage our vast toolkit & rockstar creatives to deliver world-class animations once only achievable by the biggest studios and budgets.

Experiences people reach out and touch

Experts in large format, immersive & 360 Animated Content and Storytelling

We build interactive installations where audiences don't just watch -- they steer, tap, throw, move, and become part of the story. Projection mapping, touch tables, body tracking, and real-time visuals, engineered to feel like magic.

The magic isn't one piece of tech.
It's the combination.

Most installations you've seen are a single screen, a single projector, a single effect. Ours are three things working together -- and the result is always greater than the sum of the parts.

A — Hybrid by design
Layered, Not Stacked

Projection + touchscreen + infographic. Body tracking + real-time visuals + physical props. We layer technologies so each experience feels unlike anything else on the floor.

B — Built to be played with
Stop traffic, don't broadcast at it

Projection + touchscreen + infographic. Body tracking + real-time visuals + physical props. We layer technologies so each experience feels unlike anything else on the floor.

C — Edutainment
Teach, configure, capture -- at once

Projection + touchscreen + infographic. Body tracking + real-time visuals + physical props. We layer technologies so each experience feels unlike anything else on the floor.

Eight platforms.
Infinite permutations.

Each is a starting point, not a finished product. We mix, match, and customize to match your brand story, your audience, and your physical space.

Interactive 3D Projection Mapping

Cutaway exploration Product showcase Self-guided touch

Physical objects become living canvases. Tap a touchscreen, and the object in front of you transforms -- wireframes expose internal components, systems animate, cutaways tell the story. Detailed geometry tracked precisely, driven by custom interaction logic, shipped in a rolling enclosure that opens and closes for every show.

Product Configurators

Unreal Engine Millions of combos Data capture

Real-time interfaces with millions of combinations. Users build, paint, spec, and save -- walking away with a branded digital or physical takeaway while you walk away with their data. We've done cars, liveries, apparel; Jeeps with Mopar parts is next.

03 / 08

Multi-Player Touch Tables

Up to 4 players Leaderboards RFID / NFC

Four-screen Unreal Engine games networked with shared leaderboards. Modular scenarios you can swap or add to between campaigns. Add RFID pucks for physical-object interaction on the table surface -- placement and proximity drive behavior.

04 / 08

Choose-Your-Adventure Journeys

Branching narratives Player + audience screens QR takeaway

Two-screen story experiences where one user plays and a crowd watches the outcome above. Scoring and consequences are fully tunable -- outcomes can skew brand-positive, teach via consequence, or reward only the bold.

05 / 08

Interactive Video Sliders

Encoder-synced video Modular / transportable Up to 8 ft

A monitor on a physical track becomes an X-ray you drag across a car, a product, or a scene. Touchpoints reveal video, graphics, or deeper content at key stops. Optional rear-facing secondary display and camera-behind-screen variants.

06 / 08

Motion & Body Tracking

Depth cameras Laser pucks Infrared arrays

Azure Kinect, skeletal tracking, laser pucks, and infrared let guests control projections with their bodies -- grow trees, trigger supernovas, paint walls, steer avatars. We pick the tracking method based on the space and the story.

07 / 08

Camera Portals & Live Composites

Real-time ingest Face / skeleton capture Generative backgrounds

Open a door, get composited into the scene. Stand on a mark, see yourself on the moon. Real-time camera ingest merged with generated visuals -- the audience becomes the content, and the content is always new.

08 / 08

4D & Environmental Effects

Wind / haze / rumble Auto photo capture Email & SMS delivery

Add 150 MPH wind, haze, rumble, scent, and temperature to digital visuals. We've paired steering-wheel sims with wind blasters and auto-capture cameras -- cheeks flapping, souvenir photo emailed, four experiences folded into one.

Brands don't just want engagement — they want the data. We design capture into the experience, not bolted on top.

A — Digital Takeaways

Scan, enter ID, walk away with a personalized result

Scan, enter ID, walk away with a personalized result.

A universal QR and randomly generated ID pulls up each guest's configuration, score, or image. Fully branded, delivered clean, trackable end-to-end. Works great for leaderboard reveals and post-show CRM triggers.

B — Physical Takeaways

Automated kiosk printers deliver in seconds

Automated kiosk printers deliver in seconds.

Trigger a print on a configurator save, a photo capture, or a quiz result. Add email or SMS capture as the trigger, and you've converted a moment of delight into a named lead. No human required.

Animation & Visual Storytelling FAQ

Immersive storytelling surrounds your audience inside the narrative instead of putting it on a screen in front of them. Guests don't just watch — they steer, tap, move, and react, becoming active participants whose choices shape what unfolds. We blend projection mapping, interactive surfaces, sensors, and real-time visuals so the story responds to the people in the room.
Projection mapping spans large-scale architectural and building projection, object mapping onto props and 3D-printed models, and fully immersive room and dome environments that wrap visuals across floors, walls, and ceilings. We often layer it with touchscreens, body tracking, and infographics so the mapped surface becomes interactive — not just a moving image, but something the audience can drive.
A good interactive animation reacts instantly and legibly to the guest, so the moment of "wait — I'm doing this?" lands clearly. It needs responsive real-time visuals, an obvious cause-and-effect between input and outcome, and a payoff that rewards participation. We tune timing, feedback, and pacing so the experience feels alive whether someone engages for five seconds or five minutes.
AR (augmented reality) content layers digital visuals onto the real world, so what a guest sees blends physical space with generated imagery. In our installations that often takes the form of camera portals and composite setups — step onto a mark or through a door and you're merged live into the scene. It turns the audience into part of the picture rather than an observer of it.
A projection dome is an immersive environment where visuals wrap across a curved interior surface, taking audiences anywhere from deep space to the ocean floor. Lumen & Forge's domes come in both geodesic and inflatable formats, making them deployable for events, exhibits, and activations. Inside, projection-mapped content fully surrounds guests for a shared, enveloping experience.
VR content is built in real-time engines like Unreal Engine and Touch Designer, where 3D environments, interactions, and logic are authored and rendered live. The process runs from concept and 3D modeling through interaction design and optimization, so the experience stays smooth in a headset or on large-format displays. We previsualize and prototype early — proving the interaction works before committing to the full build.
Motion capture (MoCap) records real human movement and maps it onto digital characters or visuals in real time. We use skeletal tracking, depth cameras like Azure Kinect, laser pucks, and infrared so guests can control projections with their bodies — growing trees, triggering supernovas, or painting walls just by moving. It's how a guest's physical motion becomes the driver of the on-screen story.
Previsualization (previz) is the planning stage where we mock up the experience before full production — blocking out content, camera, timing, and interactions. We build rapid proof-of-concept in-house so you can see the interaction working before we commit to a complete build, not after. It de-risks the project, aligns everyone on the creative direction, and locks the technical approach early.
